Room Air Conditioner shows no sign of life

I have a elderly Kenmore 106.8760693 room air conditioner. It worked fine last season but I first tried to fire it up today and nothing. There is power to the outlet. I could not find an owner's manual on line. Any suggestions? Reset button? Anything to try?

It does nothing? No fan? No clicks? No Hum? Is there a GFCI on the cord?

Not a peep of any kind. The outlet has power. No GFCI involved.

My first guess would be a fuse someplace. But this is only a guess.
At least you can open it up and make sure the unit is getting power through the cord with a meter.

The outlet has power. No GFCI involved.
But does the plug have a built in RCD. Many newer air conditions have them. There are usually buttons on the plug.
