I had water leaking out the vent in my laundry room and come to find out the drain line backed up into plenum and soaked it causing the leak.
The repairman said... I need a new plenum, flow switch & adjustment of the drain line. He also said I really need to install a second return in the house (3 1/2 ton unit... 1500 sq ft house)
Does anyone know of fair prices on all of this? I know it would just be a guess but anything would help me see if I am being taken for a ride or not...
Thanks.

Without seeing your specific installation, it's impossible to even give a ballpark estimate. I'd recommend you get three bids from qualified HVAC contractors and go from there, if you don't trust the guy you've already talked to.
