Heat pump not cooling

I have a trane XL1200. When I first turn it on it cools fine with a high line pressure of 240psi and a low line pressure of 50psi.
After it runs a few minutes the high and low pressures start dropping. After about 20 minutes the high side reads 170psi and the low side reads 15psi and the air out of registers is not cold.
The high line tempture at the outside unit is 75F and the low line is 60F. Outdoor temp today was about 75F.
Any suggestions on the cause of this problem would be appreciated.

Craig

Sounds like the freon level is too low. may be a leak somewhere. You want the lowside pressure up to 70.

pressure/temperature relationship chart for refrigerant will reveal that the coil is freezing and the pressures continue to drop since the temps drop as the coil freezes over. If you have your EPA cert you may be able to do something about it can you post a copy of your cert? NOTE: just blank out all ss numbers and last names etc since the certs have that information on them.
