Central Air not cooling

The central air to me is not working properly. Outside unit is running and fan is rotating. Unit was cleaned out yesterday. Downstairs blower running, but no air coming out of vents anywhere in the house. Any ideas? Thank you.

When you say the downstairs blower is running this is your air handler or furnace fan, correct? If that's running and you have NO air coming out... warm or cool... then you've probably just got clogged filters and you're not getting any return air to recirculate through the house... which in turn would cause your coil to freeze. So check your filters, you may think of these as your furnance filters but really it's anywhere your system gets return air from so it could be at various points in your house though there's likely one right on your furnance too... see if they're clogged, replace them, and see that you're getting SOME air circulating in your house. If it's warm give it a few hours as your coil may be frozen and needs to thaw before you see cool air start to return.

Hope that helps,
Sam
