Exclamation New broken A/C pipe insulation?

Hi,
they are installing a new air conditioning in my new house. The refrigerant pipe insulation is broken on one feet outside the house. Is that big deal?

See photo:

Thanks

They should replace that part when they cover the pipe. Question why did they run it on the outside wall why not inside then out.

The pipe should have come out by the back of the house on the 1st floor. But the technician did not know the city doesn't allow that since it is a semi-detached and that could bother the neighbour. Since the wall insulation were installed, it was of course cheaper to bring it out by the roof and leave the pipe outside. Not that very of very happy of that.

Well, Hopefully they are at least going to put it in one of those channels with a cover?
