blower fan

is it ok to leave fan on instead of on auto ? seems to keep house cooler when left on.

Yes, but it uses more electricity, and short the life of the fan.

during parties,holidays,real humid days...otherwise in auto use the ceiling fans instead

it is perfectly ok to run the fan 24/7..... However it costs a lot of money to do so unless your system uses a variable speed motor.

I disagree. If it is humid, Running the fan after the AC has shut off adds to the humidity in the house. If its not humid then you can if you want.

Can you explain that? I am trying to understand exactly how running the fan increases humidity. Where is the humidity coming from?

When the AC cycles off the condensation on the evaporator coil will evaporate and enter the air ducts instead of running into the drain.

This will result in a higher humidity level in your home than you would get with the fan set to the auto position.
