Are 2 better than 1 or not?

I have 2 widow units (I was just given another one). My original unit is 10000 BTUs with 10.8 EER. The new is is the same specs.

Is there any value in putting both of them in windows next to each other and run the fans at low speed.

Will I get more cooling with less noise and lower electrical use?

Will this more easily cool the entire house?

The original unit cools the entire house but I have to run it on med to high all day on hot days.

I would not. You may want to separate them in different rooms and cool an entire area. Your electrical usage will double, and your noise will double, that's a given. Do you have ceiling fans? They help disperse air throughout the house.

Using two at different ends of the home running on low will remove more RH making it feel cooler at a higher temp which will result in less run times.
