Need to check transformer in air handler. Don't know where it is.

Neither my A/C, nor my heat, nor my fan will turn on. Someone suggested I check, among other things, the transformer in the air handler. Nothing in the air handler looks to me like the pictures of transformers I've seen online. Can anyone tell me from the following pictures where the transformer might be? I obviously don't know anything about this stuff.

Thanks,
Greg

The control transformer is located near the top center of the first picture, it has four (or more) wires coming out of it. Understand that everything will be "dead" if that black button at the extreme top right is not held in by the fan housing cover. Look also for an automotive-type fuse (either a glass tube about 1/4 inch in diameter and 1-1/4 inch long or a plastic plug-in fuse) on the circuit board.

You have checked the service switch (on or adjacent to the furnace) and the circuit breaker in the main panel for the house haven't you?
