Ductless A/C BUZZZING repeatedly

So when we come into work in the morning we put on the Sanyo Ion Inverter ductless A/C the office has. At first, it runs well, but at some point in the afternoon it will begin intermittenly BUZZING quite loudly about every other minute. Sometimes, the spaces between the Buzzing sound are longer, 2-5 minutes. It sounds like a deep old alarm buzz sound.
Needless to say, it drives us ladies crazy!

There's another identical unit in another office nearby, and that one NEVER buzzes. It's however attached to the wall with plywood and 2x4 studs. Ours is attached directly to the studs inside the wall -- the wall actually being a dry erase luan type board.

I only mention this because we speculate that could be causing vibrations, but it's much louder than a rumbling piece of luan, and if you place you hand on the wall you can't feel vibrations. The vibrations we do feel are in the back-left corner of the unit.

The A/c tech's have come to take a look at it, but OBVIOUSLY it never buzzes when they're around, and they've checked the draining mech. and changed the filters and they say it's fine.

In the time it took to write this short note, Mr. Sanyo has buzzed more than a dozen times! What's up with this frustrating unit?

Can you turn fan on without the ac? If so do that for an hour and let us know if you hear any noises. this way we can start crossing things off.
