how often do you replace AC contactors
Based on what I read, it seems that capacitor and contactor are two components that are most likely to break down. Contactor breakdown (sticking) can be detrimental to compressor.
For capacitor, you measure capacitence and compare it against spec. if it's low, replace it.
But how often do you replace contactors?
Also can anyone point out a good reference on what each wire means? it seems to be way more complicated than capacitor when it comes to wiring.
I learned how to replace capacitors and did it already. but kind of intimidated by so many wires.
