Capacitor question

I have an amrad 2000/37 (706+755) capacitor. Can I use (606+755) instead. How big of a differance would it be?

Also can I test the capacitor when it is disconnected from the ac? When I test it when it's disconnected I do not get any reading with my ohm meter.

Help please

Those are not the MFD ratings which is what you need to determine the correct size.

The mfd for 606+755 is 60/7.5 and the 706+755 is 70/I7.5.

Can I use the 60/7.5 instead 70/7.5
Or is the 10 value differance a big deal?

I ask because I can not find 70/7.5 on the Internet.

Can I test it when it is disconnected for the ac?

you must use what was there! Yes, it can be tested after removed from the a/c.
