Ac fan
Folks:
I have central air conditioning in my house. The air compressor is outside
and the air handler is in my attic. They are approx.eight years old.The system
worked fine until last night. When the temperature is satisfied the compressor
unit shuts down but the fan in the air handler does not.I changed the programmable thermostat but the fan still won't shut off.I would appreciate
any and all suggestions to fix this.Thank you in advance. Ron

sounds like the blower relay is stuck, but to be sure remove t-stat from wall and disconnect wire on G terminal. Does the fan shut off? If yes, then you need a thermostat, if no, then you need to check the air handler.

The FB4A will have the 4 inch by 4 inch circuit board.
What heat strip do you have in this air handler?
Does it have a heat sequencer?
