Problem w/ AC/Furnace

Hello All,

I'm having a problem with my Carrier AC/Heater mod# 395 BAW0408080. The blower will come on and will not turn off unless I unplug it. Neither the heat or the AC work. I've replaced the thermostat and I have a new control board on the way. Can anyone give me any ideas on troubleshooting this unit? Also can anyone point me in the direction of repair/service manuals for this unit? Thanks for any help.

Take Care
Troy Stevens

sounds like the main limit is open. Check that first. I doubt it is the control board by your description.

What is the main limit? I have no manual to locate this, so I'm kind of flying blind.

There is a temperature limit located above or below the burners (depends on upflow or downflow furnace. It has 2 wires going to it. Google search furnace main limit.

It could also be a blown low voltage fuse located on the control board.
