AC Coil replacement- AC blows harder and louder- why?

I rent a 1 room efficiency...about 425 square feet. My AC started leaking water, so the AC man replaced the coil which fixed the problem.

Since the coil has been replaced, when the AC runs the fan seems to be super strong...it's like windy....and the AC is louder. I don't understand this, because the fan itself was not replaced(when I change the filter I see the old blower is still there). Also, this issue does not exist when using the heater(which is part gas).

Why would replacing the AC coil make it louder and blow harder when the fan was not replaced?

The old coil was probably dirty and restricting airflow.
Gas furnaces typically use a lower fan speed for heating.
