Lightning struck nearby, now no A/C

Lightning struck nearby yesterday and our a/c hasn't worked since. I can hear the air handler humming, but that's it. Checked the capacitor and it's good. Could it be the thermostat? It's battery powered. Transformer smells and looks fine, so I don't think it's that. What could it be?

Does the indoor unit blower run? Does the outdoor unit operate? Have you checked your breakers?
