Fan stays on.

Fan stays on.

You leave the fan running all the time, when your AC wont turn off, because your unit could freeze up, and the fan running will at least help that, and keep things from tearing up......

I am having that trouble right now, at this moment, and the repair man is checking the contactor.

We have a split unit, We turned the breaker off at the outside, for the moment, so it will stop cooling as it is 59 in the house, 90 outside and the windows are sweating! Leaving the fan run, is keeping the cool air circulating....

Fan Running keeps form freezing

You leave the fan running all the time so the unit does not freeze up...

59.....wow....I've never seen an AC go that low before.
