No valve on liquid line

My entire system only has a single Schrader valve.
The valve is on the suction line not the liquid line.

Opened the unit up to confirm, there is excess coil on the liquid side however, but no valve attached.

I have always charged with 2 valves... what's the process for a single valve?

WE do not offer diy sealed system repair advise as you need to be certified to do so.
