Cold air coming out of a/c vents

I have a central a/c in my house with vents in the ceiling. In the winter, I get cold air coming out of some of the vents. One in particular, almost feels like an open window. I had all connections checked last winter, changed the duct insulation; however, that didn't really help. Any ideas what the problem might be? Thanks!

It's not really a problem..... per se.

The ductwork is in the attic. It's cold in the attic. Cold air falls. so if you have any kind of leak or lack of insulation around the ductwork.... it will get cold and the cold air will fall into the room.

If you have a particularly warm room...... the hot air will rise into the A/C duct in that room and force the cold out elsewhere.

You can double check all insulation on the air handler and ductwork.
You can come up with a cover to cover the registers.

Thanks. What's kind of strange is that one vent is significantly worse than others, and, as I've said, I had the insulation replaced and the ducts checked for any visible leaks -- everything seems to be fine.
