Air Filter Size and Recommendation Please

Hi all. Silly question but I need to know the exact size of the air filter my old Trane Air Handler Model TWV030A140A0 takes. It's in a very hard to reach location and I'd like to know what filter size to purchase before I access it. Also, any filter type recommendations? Thanks!

Not silly, but you may have to take the filter cover off and read the size on the edge of the filter that is in there presently. Do you know if it is a 1" filter or a 4" media filter? Is it possible to relocate the filter location to a more readily accessible location? That may prompt more efficient changes.

Sounds like to me that the bearings are starting to squeal. Even though it's probably a sealed motor, from what I understand, I might be able to buy some time by drilling a small hole in the seal to try and lubricate it. I am usually pretty handy and can do most things with some instruction. I'm a bit unsure how to remove the blower/cage assembly to access the motor. Instructions will be greatly appreciated. Multi-Zone problem

I have a three story home with two AC units (Goodman), one that conditions the first floor and a second that conditions the second and third floors. The latter unit is not running properly: Whenever I turn off the heat on the second floor, the third floor turns off as well. Whenever I turn on the heat for the second floor, the third floor turns on as well. If the second floor is on and I drop the thermostat on the third floor, it won't stop even if set to the lowest setting. Why is the second floor thermostat controlling the third floor?
