Carrier kca series won't start
I have a carrier window A/C unit that won't start. No matter what fan speed, temperature, mode, or swing I put on it, it will not start. It beeps when I plug it in or turn it on and all of the lights come on, but will not start up. I've checked the filter and it's clean. I have also tried using the "test" and "restart" buttons on the plug. I've already checked the troubleshooting section of the manual as well, but it was not helpful.

Welcome to the forums.
These units aren't terribly easy to service as they need to come out of the window and get taken apart. Inside there is a control board with relays on it. Based on my experience.... that's where you'll find the problem. It could be a defective relay or a faulty solder connection on the board.
