Drain Pan sizing?

I want to add a secondary drain pan underneath my air handler in the attic. The air handler unit is 22"x50". Turns out that's a strange size to find a pan for, most easily available pans are either 1' longer or wider. I've found a couple websites that offer a 26x52, but they never answer the phone or even complete the order (I actually "bought" one with my cc, and they never charged me or responded at all.)

I know I've seen a couple that are 50" long exactly, and more that are 48" long. Can I get away with a pan that's the same size as the air handler? Or even a little shorter? I'm not sure if the condesation has access to the entire bottom of the Air Handler, or if it would stop and drip out a few inches or a even a foot before the end of the unit (i.e. underneath the blower motor).

Thanks
