Lennox Central Air Issue

Yesterday our central air system stopped working. The blower fires up ok. Changed the batteries in the thermostat and cleaned out the clean out and filter is ok. I reset the Breaker. Condensor outside does not fire up. Any recommendations. Thanks

Welcome to the forums.

You pushed the breaker all the way to off and then to on ?
There should be an outside disconnect right next to the compressor unit. It may have fuses in it.
Your next step is to use a meter and check for 240vac at the disconnect.

With room T-stat set calling for cooling, 24-volt control voltage may not be closing the control contactor.

Not telling U to do any testing as U may not do it in a safe manner!

Thanks, so from that I read that I might be able to tell by changing the thermostat?

Turn the power off to the furnace. then remove stat to expose the wires. Remove R,Y and G wires and twist them together. Restore power to furnace. If AC starts then the stat is bad.
