ac not cooling mobile home

I recently bought a 14x70 mobile home thats ac isnt working properly. Its blowing air perfectly fine from the vents but not cold. I had a guy come out and said all it needed was freon and charged me 130 for it. It was 89 in the house at the time and set the thermostat to 80 pulled the filter and left the house to cool. This was at about 4pm and 96 degrees outside. At 10pm I came back to check on it and it only dropped to 83. Its cool outside and hot in the house. New freon didnt seem to change a thing. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums.

Like the nick.... I have a 99 E-350 SD with the power smoke engine. Has close to 400K miles on it.

Mobile homes are tough beasts to heat and cool. Usually the insulation is lacking and the system has a hard time keeping up. Duct work insulation is also an area that causes problems.

What kind of system do you have there ? Heatpump ? Something from Coleman ?
Try to post some make and model numbers so we know what you have there.
