Plastic bag sucked into filter duct

Changing the filter a plastic bag sucked up into the duct. I looked up the best i could and could not see it. If I run the AC will the bag cause it to over heat? Also what can i do to get the bag out of there. I plan on turning the ac off tonight and taking off the panels too see if i can find it. Thanks for the help in advance!

Most likely it's in the blower. Might have to pull the blower to get it out.

You did not say what type of Goodman unit you have but make sure you pull the disconnect or turn off the breaker for your AC. The AC is controlled by a thermostat so it can turn on by itself. Keep in mind that you may have two disconnects. One for the outdoor unit and one for the interior air handler.

The blower is usually in the bottom section. There should be 2 screws holding the blower in place. Then it just slides out.

Be sure and follow Pilot's instructions.
