Where is the FUSE!

The two small wires in the back were broke.... fixed. The fan would not turn unless the button on the contactor was pressed. So, replaced the contactor. Still the a/c will not come on. Was told to replace the fuse inside the central unit, but have no idea what I am looking at. I'm sending a pic, can someone help? Summer is coming tomorrow full force!!

I don't see a fuse in there, unless it's behind the wires. Some modules have fuses that looks like the fuses they use in cars.

Welcome to the forums.

If you put the thermostat in FAN ON mode does the inside blower/fan come on ?

We may need a make and model number of your furnace.

The fan will not come on inside or out. The only time it comes on outside is if the button on the contactor is pushed. The unit is a Rheem/Ruud Series E1.

Rheem, Ruud and Trane were slow to start putting fuses in their gas furnaces. You probably don't have a fuse protecting the transformer.

Do you have a meter to test for 24 volts?
