Ok.... it's a little tough to keep all the threads separate especially when they're this long.

No... your compressor gets connected to Y and C. The Y terminal is nothing more than a splice point. So move the red wire to Y. If the compressor doesn't work with the red on the Y terminal then we're back to a t'stat problem.

I thought we were creating a Common connection for your t'stat.... but I guess I'm mistaken.
