Mini split advice

I'm looking to move to a mini split system for my 1910 (no ducts) home. I'd like to oversize the mini split exterior condenser to handle the attic when I get around to finishing it (hopefully in the next 5 years). Will over sizing the condenser make a huge dent in the efficiency?

You can't mismatch them. They make mini splits with the ability to handle more then 1 head unit. I think I've seen 1 condenser able to handle up to 5 heads. Those are the systems you need to look at.

Yes its fine but you need at least 50% load on it from day one. you cant have a 24,000 BTU condenser with a 9,000 BTU evaporator. It will have to be at least 12,000 BTUs
