blower motor will not turn on unless i spin it by hand
I have a Carrier furnace model # 58GA125-2ac. Not sure what is wrong or how to oil it. It is over 20 years old, BTU 125,000 the motor will not turn on by its self it will just hummmm. when I turn it by hand it runs good but will not turn back on when it should unless I turn the motor by hand again. How do I oil the motor. and what else could be wrong. thanks

I would say that you need a run capacitor.
It may be necessary to remove the blower to check for an oil port at each side of the motor.
A zoom spout oiler makes oiling those old motors much easier.
