So I have these aweful window units.. the work great I just hate that they are in the windows. I also have ductwork under the house for a heating unit we no longer use. Would it be feesible to put the window units under my house and connect them into the ductwork? Has anyone done anything similar? If so any tips or suggestiongs for this? I know I would most likely loose all programability, but a simple on/off switch would work..

Dear Sirs, You advice/suggestions on the following would be very much appreciated. I'm dealing with a craw space air-handler, inside which is the typical evaporator. The unit has a drain - but it's on the side. So due to the functionalities of it all, the water has to come up 1/3" just to make it to the opening of that drain pipe. As you can imagine, there's always standing water at the bottom of the unit. How does one remedy this? I was thinking of just drilling a hole in the bottom panel, and running a small hose (fuel? 5/16) out of it and then tapping it into the already existing drain pipe. Normal? I mean, for it to be hot to the touch, even though the system has been shut down for hours.
