Amana Goodman Blower Motor.
Well came home to a hot house. The blower has seemed to go out, and it was confirmed by a tech that I called out. He told me that he believes it is the motor or the ECM. So, not wanting to just pay without trying to fix it myself I pulled the motor. After removing the board, I noticed that a trace on the board was fried. It looks like it was designed to fail on a surge. Live in Houston, and we have been getting pounded by some pretty strong storms Can someone give me some advice on how to progress from here. It looks like it fried the trace before it could get to anything else on the board. Would jumping with some 30 gauge be acceptable as a fix? If so, can someone describe how I could test it without having to reinstall the unit.
Attached are some pics of the trace.
