Condensation all around the ac furnace

Hi,

I have my ac in the crawl space which has a lot of condensation all around one end of the furnace - exit side. Can someone explain to me what can cause this?

Also what does rebalancing an ac unit mean?

Thank you for your help

Best,
David

I suspect the end that had the condensation on it is the supply duct and may not be insulated correctly,as for balancing that is done buy a professional with specialized equipment that measures duct pressures, and volume of air from the supply registers ,I doubt it is really necessary for a residence.

You need to remove the humidity from the crawlspace. Do you have a vapor barrier? are the vents closed? You must get the RH down.

Thanks for the tips.

Any advice on how to insulate the end of the furnace and what to use.

Thanks
