AC Contactor Relay

Hi all, I am currently being slow cooked in my own home because the AC is out and it is mid 90's outside. I don't know much about fixing ACs but I was told that the contactor relay (I hope I'm remembering that right) is bad by someone who came to check it out. I am not having luck finding this part so I am posting here in the hopes that someone who knows more than I will be able to assist.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks
Images of the relay are below:

Check the coil voltage on the side of the contactor. It should be 24VAC.

You can test to see if the contactor is bad. Use an insulated rod (wood) push the black button down (you can see the button is on the top of one side of the relay) and see if that starts your AC. If AC starts, then your contactor(or may be 24V to the contactor) is bad, if not, you have other problems.

That contactor looks like it's had it.
