Air Conditioning & Dehumidifiers

I have a window ac going. I also have a separate dehumidifier. I have heard that having a separate dehumidifier should help the ac out. The dehumidifier does heat up the air just a bit. Would that heating of the air outweigh the benefits of dehumidification and just make the ac work harder to cool the air? Thanks in advance!

The AC has to dehumidify the air first so the dehumidifier is helping.

There are two ways of looking at it but unless you have killer humidity.... the A/C is better equipped to handle the issue plus it cools the air.
