AC & thermostat not working

Last night the main power switch to the furnace shorted out, fixed it this morning but still no AC andthe thermostat is blank; unsure if its getting power. Its a robertshaw 9420, operated by 24v, no batteries. AC/furnace are Rheem. The main power switch is fully functional and there's power throughout the furnace (or so we've found so far there is.) Not sure what to look at next; suggestions?

Contactor question

I recently replaced my contactor in my Goodman GMC VSX130301DB AC unit. The original contactor was a single pole 25 amp unit and the one I replaced it with is a double pole 30 amp unit. I wired the new double pole exactly like the single pole contactor. It works fine, but now after reading more I'm concerned if I should have installed a single pole in case there is a crankcase heater that needs constant power. How can I tell if that is the case on this Goodman AC unit?
