compressor capacitor wiring
Hi guys.
So i changed out a condenser fan motor today and my new capacitor was 7.5 mfd so i had to use a sseperate capacitor for my fan motor. I pulle the common wire of of my dual capacitor and gave it to my 7.5mfd capacitor for my fan motor. No the thing is my compressor wont run because it doesnt have a common where can i get a common wire for my dual capacitor that only has my herm wire in ot right now. I need a common wire from somehwere on the contactor so that the compressor will run but i dont know where to get it from on the contactor to my dual capacitor common. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Welcome to the forum.
You already have your common wire. Just "T" it to go to the second capacitor.
Some capacitors even have double lugs which makes it even easier to add a second wire.
