carrier fx4dnf025 TDR
Hello, my name is kevin. Trying to get some information on how to bypass the stock blower off delay after the compressor shuts off. I have a 2 ton carrier heat pump, paired with a carrier fx4dnf025 a/h.
Thanks in advance.

well, that's the thing, I have no idea where this relay is. I only know it exists. where is the control board located? And where would the part # be? are you referring to the blower motor control board?

Does your fan control board have the JW1 Jumper?
It would be the lower board for your ECM X13 motor.

Kinda hard to see the printing in that picture...
"All products from the factory utilize a printed-circuit board
(PCB) which has a low-voltage circuit protective fuse (5 amp),
fan motor speed tap selection terminal (SPT), and time delay
relay (TDR) jumper. To disable the TDR feature, sever the jumper
wire JWl. (See Fig. 7 and 8.)"

I don't recall seeing one, and I have rewired that unit before to remove the power companies load management box, and I have never seen that. there are no visible "control boards" on my unit. its from 2014, there is only a fan speed tap, where you select what speed, and on the top there is a relay that deals with the 2nd stage blower for the electric heat. ill snap you a pic shortly.

Yes! Mine looks very very similar to that, the relay set up for the electric heat is different, and is not on a board, but rather the back plate. And my low voltage fuse is in line... Not on a board.... The capacitor for the fan is also not visible on mine.. Though I'll double check tonight when I get home.. But I'm 99% sure I'm correct...i do recall seeing a sticker on mine that bragged about control board features "now being integrated in the motor"
