How to program a ecm motor module

I have a Trane air handler in the attic Model # TWE040E13FA1 The blower stopped working December 2013, Bought the blower module very expensive
$374 dollars this December it stopped working again, The fan rocks back & forth but does not spin, I read in one of the forums that the programming could be corrupted and may need reprogramming, would appreciate if anybody could give information on programming a motor module, Thank you.

Welcome to the forums.

As far as I know..... that programming is dealer only.

It looks like there is a programmer available but it may be only to existing servicing agents.

Thanks PJmax for the reply, Clicked on the link you provided, put me through to Trane, which provided me with another link to comfortsite.com and yes it is only available to existing service agents, I am seriously considering converting from an ECM motor to a PSC motor, the money you may save on the ECM motor is eaten up by the cost of the repairs every few years.

Did you ever get this sorted? I thought I watched a video on You Tube that said a rocking motor was defective motor and if the module was bad, the motor would not operate at all?

Can I DIY a capacitor/fan? Read what the HVAC Inspection said

Purchasing a new house. A/C is 14 years old. I had an inspection on the two HVAC units and he wrote: "During heat mode the splits were 26.4 degrees and both units went into defrost cycle. Low run cap but within specs. recommend replacing cap and leaking oil fan motor". What exactly is the "splits" he is talking about? I have done a lot of automotive A/C and have rebuilt engines etc so not afraid of work, but zero house A/C experience. Can I easily replace the capacitor (is it even needed?) and the fan?

PTAC Amana Heating Problems

I have 3 PTAC units model (2 x PTH123E35AXXXAB and 1 x PTH123C35AMCA), with heating issues. I appreciate all the help I can get of just one, two or all of them; [LIST] [*]PTAC # 1 - Amana PTH123E35AXXXAB. I have notice on PTAC Amana the inside fan is kind of slow, but on this unit it is very slow. It starts heating, when I turn it on, but suddenly stops heating and the fan turns off, the display still shows 90 and is on HEAT, but the unit it self is not doing anything until it turn it off and back on. The room never gets warm. I have tested the inside thermistor and is not close to 90. [/LIST] [LIST] [*]PTAC # 2 - Amana PTH123E35AXXXAB. It starts heating, the inside fan turns, the unit is set on 90. After a few minutes the heater turns of, but the inside fan keeps turning and normal/cold (not heated air) comes out. After a few minutes the heater starts again for a while and stops again, it keeps doing that, the room stays cold. I have tested the inside thermistor and is also not close to 90 when the heater turns off. [/LIST] [LIST] [*]PTAC # 3 Amana PTH123C35AMCA. I turn the unit on, set it on HEAT 70, the fan starts, heater not yet. I check the thermistor temperature, it is about 69. I go up to 72 on control board, I can hear a click and the heater turns on. After heater turns on and I go to bed the unit fan and heater stays on, does not turn off anymore and the room gets very hot much more than 72, it keeps heating. If right after I go up to 72 and the heater turns on and I go back down to 67 for example it will turn off. [/LIST] Do these units have a high limit thermostat somewhere inside, that might be broken? Can a high limit thermostat just be kind of broken, sometimes work and sometimes not? Again thank you very much for your help.
