AC turns on when "heat" is selected on thermostat and heater turns on "Cool"
I have 2 RUUD AC units that I recently replaced the thermostat on. Prior to the switch, they were working just fine. However, since replacing it, my AC turns on only when I select "heater" and my heater turns on when I select "cool". Both thermostats are exactly the same and have the same issue.
I included 2 pictures of how it was wired before and how I wired it. The one that has the "RH" and "RC", the first picture, is how it was wired before. The new thermostat, does not have any of these 2, only has "R". I did, however, did install the wires in accordance with the color. So not sure what is going on. The new thermostat is a Honeywell RTH2410B, 5-1-1.
What could be the problem? Is this thermostat not the correct one for this one?

That Orange wire... Is it connected to the Blue wire on the Rheem condenser? If not it should because Ruud/Rheem work backwards from other brands when it comes to energizing the reversing valve.
