HVAC drain line - connection and how

Can the drain for my central air conditioning be connected to my home sewer line? Right now it is draining down in the concrete slab to the outside. I'm gonna remove the wall the line is running in and will need to run the drain in a different wall. I might need to cut the slab to run the line or add a pump to remove the condensation. Thanks

Funny you should ask that question. It was just being discussed in another thread.

My personal choice is not to connect the condensate line directly to the septic/sewer line even with a proper trap.

Thx PJ
I've never seen one connected to the sewer lines and I thought there was a good reason.
