Goodman ARUF25B14 air handler - wiring??

This is my 1st post and I am a student (about to take exams). I'm looking at a Goodman ARUF25B14 air handler. It has 5 low voltage wires coming out of the top of the unit (white, red, blue, green, and brown). As I look at the installation guide and other low voltage wiring guides, I see red is 24v, white provide heat signal, green provides fan signal. Brown wire isn't connected to anything internally and is dead.

1. So, what is the blue wire?
2. Where is the yellow wire that normally provides cooling signal to compressor contactor?

Thanks for your assistance,

Doug

Well, seems the current Installation and Operating manual is a little misleading, It clearly indicates a yellow wire from the control box mounted inside the unit. I ran across a older document for the ARUF unit (2006) and it has a different diagram. The yellow wire comes from the t-stat which is what I thought the case to be and then connects to the contactor at the compressor. Oh well, live and learn.

Blue wire could be the common.

Yes it is. Wired according to the 2006 document and all is working well. Current document is really misleading.

Thanks for the reply!
