Trane inside blower won't run correctly

My Trane blower has started to act up. It starts then stops goes backwards, then forward. Never comes up to speed. Here is a video of it acting up.

The problem depends on the type of motor.
A standard PSC type motor could require a new capacitor.
If it's an ECM type motor.... the repairs are more difficult and expensive.

A picture of the wiring where it enters the motor would be a big help.
Post the model number of the air handler too.

It's a Trane 4TEE3F31A1000AB. Here are the pictures I have.

I can get a pic of the motor later today.

I can't view your video. It just displays invalid perimeters.

You are describing a bad motor module. It is screwed to the end of the motor.
That unit looks new. You may still be under warranty.

I was able to view the video, and when the motor runs, you can hear something rattling. I don't know if it's bad bearings, something loose, or if the squirrel cage is rubbing against the housing.

I am able to see the video on my ipad. It does sound bad.
I am still leaning toward the module just because I have seen this so many times.
Does the motor spin by hand when power is removed? ( not necessarily freely)

Is this unit very old? Some Trane units have a 10 year warranty.
