Question How to troubleshoot AC Inside Fan Not Turning On?

How do I go about debugging my inside fan? Outside fan kicks in but inside I get no air circulation when I select either Fan On on Thermostat or When in Cool/Auto? (i.e no air comes out of the vents)

I have checked the breakers in the main panel and the one by the outside unit and both are not tripped?

Bear with me if I am not using the right terms to describe things. I am an avid Auto DIY but thought it was about time to learn do something inside the house. I took some pictures of my sytem for your reference. Thanks in advance for your help!!

Welcome to the forums.

I approved your moderated thread but it appears you didn't post the pictures correctly.

I have unlimited time to edit a post. You only have a limited amount of time.

We're working on the inside unit.... we don't need any outside pictures.
Make and full model number of inside unit would be helpful too.

Sorry about the noob/episode. I think pics are up now.

These are all the pics I have of the inside unit. It's in the attic. Where could I find the full model number and make?

Also what happened to my original post/1st post. Looks like it's gone.

The model number will be in the burner section.

Here is a few more pics,

Alright,

so here is what I did yesterday. I cut power from the breaker panel and went into the attic. I removed the Run Capacitor and there is obvious bulging which I read is a sign of the Cap going bad.

I ordered one with same specs and I should get it in 1-2 days.

This is a single run one (2 terminals) as it only helps the fan as opposed to 3 terminals like the ones that run compressor and fan.

So is there any polarity on mine. I see no markings on my old cap. Can I plug it either way?

The capacitor has no polarity, and since it's a single capacitor, you can connect either lead to either terminal.
