Compressor take a while to start during the hot time of day

Compressor take a while to start during the hot time of day
Replace the fan control board at night work good during the hot time of the day it take 5 min or longer down good what else would cause this

The compressor take 5 min or longer to start in the moring work fine is there a delay in the new fan control board

Welcome to the forums.
Many/most thermostats have a 5 minute compressor turn on delay.
Some A/C condensors have a 5 minute timer board in them.
Some heat pumps have a delay built in.
We'd need a make and model of the condensor to check further.
The new control board should have come with some type of documentation.
A delay may be indicated on there.

Both fan is working did not lose powder compressor take about 5 min to kick in replace the capacitor at the compressor

Usually when the compressor cap is bad the compressor will hum loudly or cut out on thermal overload pretty quickly.

It new replace it when compressor is running sound good when the fan come on no noise from compressor
