Post Air conditioning misters

I read with great anticipation the post by cpfullback on the subject of a/c misters and the items that he used on his system followed by mooney252 asking for a list and where to acquire his components. To my dismay, no list of components nor where he acquired them. Can anyone help me in acquiring the needed components so that I too can proceed with my project. I am very happy that I researched the efficacy of using misters but never thought of the fins getting destroyed by the calcium buildup. I was going to install a water and calcium filter and let it go at that. Thanks to cpfullback, I didn't make the mistake that uninformed many of us make by simply letting the mist be sucked in by the fan and not giving any thought to the damage and cost incurred down the line. Thank you very much, and I'm hoping that there are many knowledgeable tradesmen that can help me.

Welcome to the forums.

I'd imagine in Arizona a mister could be very effective. Probably not as effective or needed in a higher humidity area like where I am in NJ. Regardless of the condition/quality of the mist water it's not something I'd do on my unit.

You referenced an older thread and I've left a link to it......

I'm not aware of kits being sold but I did see many videos on You Tube illustrating different methods of building/installing misters.
