We're melting!
I have had my air conditioner in the same location for 3 years now with no problems.
I've been trying to plug it in without success. I thought that the 2 prongs (3 prongs total) looked suspiciously close together, but still no luck.
Any idea what could be going on?

It sounds like the plug got stepped on. If the prongs are bent..... straighten them.
Shouldn't be too difficult a job.
