Fujita KFR-53GW/m a/c

My a/c was out of commission for approximately 3 years. I inspected it, cleaned it and had it re-gassed. It switched on normally and operated as expected for 5 to 8 minutes when both the outside fan and compressor stopped. The inside air temperature was 30 deg C and the selected temperature 23 deg C. After a while the outside fan and compressor came on again. This is the cycle it is running continuously. The result is that the selected temperature is not reached.
I suspected an overheat in the compressor causing it to switch off. I measured the volts on the terminal board in the outside unit and it indicated that the power is off for both the fan and the compressor if stopped.
The a/c is a 18000 BTU system with 3 sensors. One in the outside unit, one on a pipe in the inside unit and one for the incoming air.
Any ideas an/or suggestions will be appreciated.
Julian

Welcome to the forums.

You should put non-US in your personal bio.

This is a ductless multiple evaporator split heat pump system.
These systems are not cut and dry to repair. There is a control board that monitors all the operating parameters. Any one is incorrect shuts the system down.

There should be a diagnostic control board....possibly with indicators.

I've been trying to find on-line service info and have not found anything usable. You need the service manual to even start to diagnose the unit.

skaggsje, Thank you for your response. I will ask the person that re-gassed my a/c and discuss your thought about the problem I experience.
