Help! Amana p1248809r HVAC - heating element will briefly come on, but blower wi
My Amana p1248809r HVAC, which is like a motel type unit, will not kick on. Nothing happens on "cool" or "fan" except a clicking noise somewhere in the unit. When I turn it to head, I can briefly feel head coming out of the vent, but the blower does not come on, and eventually the heating element turns off (I assume this is some type of fail-safe). Any ideas on what is going on and what I need to do to fix it?

Can you post a picture of the tag on your PTAC unit?
That doesn't look like a valid model number.
If you are lucky , you may only need a new run capacitor.
