AC Unit sounds horrible (audio included)
My outside AC unit sounds horrible. It's a Goodman installed in 2010. Here is the audio of what it sounds like (ignore the bird): https://soundcloud.com/wesley-york-9...tsound/s-Jmots
What should be my next course of action? Fan? Compressor? Call the AC guy? Any way I can do some of this on my own?

I don’t really hear anything out of the ordinary. What is making the noise your concerned about? Is the unit running and cooling?

It's pretty hard to ignore the bird considering he drowns out the sound of the ac unit.
Was it perched on your phone? 😊
If your ac unit has a scroll type of compressor they are typically a bit louder than a piston type.
Also, if there is a problem in the system like the evaporator being iced up or too high of head pressure from a dirty condensing unit coil it would also make more noise than usual.
