How to hook up the AC?

A non-profession person told me the AC is not hooked up, the it should work once it is hooked up.

What to do? How much does it cost to hire a professional person to hook it up?

It's hard to tell with that hose all over it. Also move it away from the house.

"Hook it up" could mean a lot of things. Maybe its not wired (electrically)... Hook up. Maybe it needs to be connected to the unit inside the house. May be both. Maybe it will need Freon. Maybe the unit inside was never "hooked up" either. Maybe a lot of things. Could cost $100 for a house call, to $3000+ to do a complete install. Best way to find out is call a professional & ask him. I'm sure most HVAC guys will give you a free estimate.

What to do?
The first thing needed is to install a hose hangar on the house.
The ac unit will soon be damaged by overheating if used as shown.

Yes the ac unit is not "hooked up".
The electrical flex conduit is installed but no idea if there are any wires in it.
The liquid line is one of two refrigeration lines needed, it is visible but not connected.
The second larger line needed, the suction line, is not visible.

It appears the install was well under way but stopped mid-stream.
Was it that the contractor was not going to be paid and then walked off the job?
