AC doesn't turn on

Looking for a little help. When i turn my thermostat on the condenser starts , I can feel cold air inside the furnace. I have checked the transformer and I have 24 volts. The control board status light doesn't come on at all. I tried going to heat and the unit does nothing. I'm thinking it needs a new board but I wanted to see if i'm missing something.

It might help our experts if you told us what brand and model AC you have.

Welcome to the forums.

This is an almost identical problem to yours. Follow my directions to check the board.

Don't forget.... when the blower door is open... all power is cut to the furnace. Tape or hold the switch in. The model number for the furnace us on the side wall inside near the burner on an ID tag.
